Mystery-shopping panel freshness: how do you know whether shoppers are still active?
Why shopper-panel size says little about current usability and which freshness signals matter more for recruitment.
An existing profile can still be operationally stale
A shopper may remain in a database even though email, working radius, interests or activity have not been confirmed for a long time. Recruitment therefore needs to know not only whether a record exists but when a meaningful signal was last observed.

Reactivation should be targeted
Repeatedly contacting inactive profiles can reduce response quality and trust. A better process uses clear reasons, contact-frequency controls and an easy way to stop future outreach.
Panel quality needs a regional view
